[Rachael Penzra 01] • The Witch Hits a Glitch

Life is so simple without friends and family. Rachael, having survived murder once, is ready to fall back into her old dull routine. However, her family has found out that she's a witch, and her niece Patsy is thinking of becoming one. Her mother and three sisters (four of the infamous family Seven Sisters) decide to visit and straighten things out. Two of the aunts bring husbands, although Uncle Herbert is only there in the form of words out of his widow's mouth. He had taken the easy way out and died. They might have fought while he lived, but she now controls every word he's credited with on earth--and surprise, they all match her opinions. Sweet Aunt Myrtle, spinster, arrived with a bag full of crocheting. She was creating gifts from used plastic bags. That kept her happy until she was kidnapped, drugged, and rescued by a local pervert with a pinching propensity. Detective work, she decided, was much more interesting than crocheting. Add the family, a dog (for want of a better species description,) some rather bizarre acquaintances, and two less than competent criminals, and chaos soon reigns.
