My name is Frank.

My title is Francis, Duke of Lanchcombe.

At least I think it is. That isn’t as crazy as it sounds by the way.

There are hordes of the undead on the upper lawn and more heading our way so it’s time to leave the ancestral pile, Lanchcombe House, and head somewhere less … well, dilapidated and infested. My family has two other homes with access to fresh water and arable land, and that's where we’re heading. Up north as we southerners like to say.

My companions and I—including my idiot brother Gerald—have a plan to get out, and tomorrow we shall leave. I have no idea if any of us will survive but one thing is true of everyone who has made it this far.

No matter who we are or where we’re from, we’re all part of the one percent now.
