[Slim Gunter 02] • Goose Flesh

Goose Flesh is set in the nondescript underbelly of central London, Slim Gunter is struggling with his weight and his hair. He tries to help people. Barnaby ‘Goose’ Chase was a man who liked a drink, loved his family and passed away on the floor of a dingy bedsit. The coroner calls it accidental death and the police file has been closed. Goose’s mother is not convinced and asks Slim for help.

Big Eddie Scarborough, a beautiful woman called Lady and the studious Barclay Lloyd help Slim uncover a story of go-go dancers, God, speed and a whole heap of bad faith. In the background, following Slim’s steps all the way, are an ill-tempered policeman and a man with a habit of knocking people on the head. Everyone’s got an interest in how Goose got cooked and it’s not long before the feathers fly.
