The Millers · Be Careful What You Wish For...

When Cathy and William Newman receive a mysterious leaflet in the mail advertising a picturesque cottage in the wood, they decide to live in the moment and buy the old place, leaving the city and taking their nephew and niece, Nora and Luke with them for a holiday.

Almost upon arrival, the family senses that there is more to their new home than meets the eye and are thrown into the strange world of the Miller family and it’s eerie children next door.

The Millers are a strange bunch; they all appear to have stepped out of a time warp, their clothes and way of talking outdated and unorthodox. They do, however, seem pleasant enough. That is until the Newman's accept an invitation to dinner that in the spur of the moment snowballs into an explosive argument. Now they have made an enemy in their neighbours and their lives will never be the same again. Hand-prints begin to appear on the windows and doors, cupboard doors are unscrewed from their fittings and curtains yanked off their rails.

Meanwhile their seven year old nephew, Luke, is disappearing off with the odd Miller children at all hours off the day, coming back with odd tales of wishes and a 'strange being in the wood'.

Are some mysteries better left unsolved?
