The Grantville Gazette has reached Issue 60! New author Margo Ryor introduces a down-time
princess and an up-timer who become pen pals in "A Beautiful Friendship:
The Beginning". Eric S. Brown,
joined by Jason Cordova, brings us Fast As Lightning In the Sky's further
exploits in "The Chosen of the Red God." "Engines of Change: More Power" is the
first of six stories by Kevin and Karen Evans that show what happened when
employees of the Danish Airship Company took a small engine to the chocolate
shop.
Caroline Palmer brings us the story
of an entrepreneur in "The Vanity Fair". Meriah Crawford and Robert Waters begin the
story of an artistic competition in "Painted Into a Corner, Episode One." In "The Red Lion Regiment, Episode
Three", by Bjorn Hasseler, the unit concludes its training at Camp
Saale.
Iver Cooper explains many of the
ways lighter-than-air travel can go wrong in "Airship Failures, Mishaps,
Accidents, and Disasters: Part 1, A Historical Perspective." Kristine Kathryn Rusch explains the
"Childish Joy" of science fiction.
And we have the next part of Garrett Vance's Time Spike serial: "The Mysterious Mesa, Part Eight: The
Promised Land."
