Laugher

Marshall Santone, a private investigator in modern-day Los Angeles, is hired by the owner of a comedy club to find hot-shot young comedian Denny Granger, who has disappeared the day before the most important weekend in the club's history. Santone sets off to find Denny with the help of his beautiful manager Nora, but when the club owner is found murdered, Santone slowly untangles a web of deceit, fraud, conspiracy and murder where no one is who they say and everyone has a reason to run.
