Marguerite "Snow" White, last heir to the House of White sits as ruler in the shining city of Ashok Orai. She is thrust into the wider workings of the realm when Wolves attack the red-bricked city of Zhan’ding, and Saledii “Rose” Red, last heir to the House of Red is killed.

While attempting to understand events that led to this point, forces, both familiar and foreign dabble with hidden strings. These forces pull at the delicate threads of an unstable peace, not only between the people of Ashok Orai and Zhan'ding, but also the scattered Wolves, who seek treasures of an Age not so long ago, to help rebuild their once glorious empire, and to end a deal gone wrong.

Marguerite must piece the together the mystery of these forces, while navigating the fragile world that exists outside her own city, or else the entire realm will fall.

Though answers will lie beyond that Marguerite considered the known realm. Along the way, Marguerite will encounter Magic Mirrors, Fairies, talking Wolves, and Witches, all to understand that the actions of one, can have ramifications all will feel.

Will she succeed to overcome what others have deemed as destiny and fate?

Or will the realm fall into chaos as Ashok Orai and Marguerite herself suffer the same fate as Saledii?
