Sheltered - A Short Story

An abusive, failing marriage. An escape to protection. A stranger who bestows a welcoming, caring hand. Devyn flees her drunk husband after she has had enough with arguing, the bruises, and the death threats. She finds a cabin in the woods with a man who takes her in and does his best to show her that not all people are bad. Can she come to terms with her past relationship before her husband finds her and threatens her future?
