I hadn’t thought about him since he left me.

He was my childhood best friend… until, one day, he wasn’t.

But we weren’t kids anymore, and I had to grow up in ways no kid should.

When he reenters my world, I don’t recognize the man he became.

He fulfilled his dreams, and I didn’t even have a single one.
