Report from Ground Zero

This insider's account of the rescue and recovery mission at New York City's Ground Zero is written by former firefighter David Smith, author of the acclaimed ENGINE CO. 82. On September 11, 2001, Smith reported to the site immediately upon hearing of the attacks, and remained there for weeks, working side by side with his brothers.
