[Armstrong Academy 02] • Octavia and the Tiny Tornadoes

A storm is brewing within her and it’s about to be unleashed.

Octavia has always been a loner and a bit temperamental. Running away from every foster home she’s

been sent to means she’s spent more time sleeping in the streets than in a real bed. Life’s finally

looking up for her when she gets a real family at last, but it’s short lived when freak tornadoes start

plaguing New York City in the middle of winter.

You wouldn’t think crazy storms and a runaway foster kid have much in common, but when three teens

show up on her doorstep on her seventeenth birthday, she discovers that just maybe she’s more

connected with the storms than she thought. Because, the storms are coming from within her.

Like a whirlwind, her life is turned upside down when she’s forced to leave the only family she’s ever

known to attend Armstrong Academy on a full ride scholarship.

The storm moon has risen, and with it comes power Octavia couldn’t fathom and can’t control.

Louis, Isla, and Theo, are joined by Isla’s brother Chris on a journey to help her rediscover herself and learn to control

her powers. But can they help her before it’s too late? Or will she end up hurting those she cares about?
