The Voice of Time

Illyich Sedemona is on the very fringe of greatness. So far in his short seventeen years he's become the Grandmaster of a centuries - old order of the nobility, advised Presidents and consorted with Saints and Gods. He's achieved what many have sought but failed to do; he’s fulfilled a prophecy that has waited millennia for his birth and pushed the boundaries of physics to new heights of discovery. He's on the verge of achieving his life's work, and if everything goes as he plans then he'll create a new world, one in which all people are free and equal...

That is, free to starve, and then equally dead. Illyich's utopia is more of a nightmare, a cruel, barbaric world where only the strongest and fittest will be able to survive, and everyone else will be swept aside. A world without laws, without order, without states, where existence is cheap and violent and short. A world of darkness, watched over forever by a man who has passed beyond petty things like life and death.

The War Beyond the Veil nears its end, and there can be only one winner. Will what remains of the Knights of St. Eirnan manage to turn the overwhelming tide of evil... or will all that is, was and shall be fall under the endless rule of the Unknown King?
