Elizabeth "Beth" Baker, or Lizzy to her friends, can't seem to get her life back together after a tragic accident. Healing from the bruises left behind is easier than healing her heart. Now suffering from depression, she tries to fight her way back to the girl she used to be with the help of her therapist. Felix Navarro's first glimpse of an Angel was when he was 10 years old; when Lizzy Baker offered him a small insignificant gesture of kindness. Plagued with bad luck and a temper, Felix tries to make sense of the bad deal he was given. He was never known to back down from a fight; however, Felix discovers his biggest fight is the one he has when he has to fight for someone else.
