[Jupiter's Glory 03] • The Obsidian Slavers

Lovers and adventurers Iris Arowana and Gordon Hawthorn are hiding from their pasts. In their stolen sword-ship, Jupiter’s Glory, they travel from world to world in the Jupiter system, taking survival one day at a time.

Stumbling upon the Obsidian – a massive cargo vessel in need of an engineer – Hawthorn is only too happy to lend his services. What he does not know is that the Obsidian is a legal slaver vessel, transporting new slaves back to Jupiter’s moon Io. Angry at the legality of Io’s human trafficking, Hawthorn and Arowana launch an undercover operation to liberate the slaves.

Along the way they face betrayal from their own crew, a slave with a grudge against them and a psychopathic slave handler on the lookout for fresh prey. Yet the strangest truth of all is that sometimes slaves simply don’t want to live free.
