Now that Hammer has repaired his relationship with his daughter Cataya, he has come to the bitter conclusion that the world as he remembers it no longer exists. He's happy that he has out-lasted all his enemies, but it's tormenting him that he has out-lived most of his love ones as well. He knows that the only way that he can begin his healing process is to stop blaming people for what they've done to him, and accept responsibility for the role that he played in his woes.

It has been fours years since Rafeal has acknowledged the foul mouth voice inside his head, EL "The One" DeBarge. And when the pressures of society begin to once again become too much for him, he gradually gives in to EL "The One" DeBarge and goes back to his old ways.

REDEMPTION takes flight when Hammer falls for a woman who he couldn't possibly began to fully understand.
