U.S. Forestry agent, Harper Arthurs, is tasked to hike the forest after a lightning storm rolled in.

Up for the adventure, she is paired up with her crush, Phoenix. Half way into the trip they discover two lost hikers, whom she feels a strange connection to—a connection as hot and wild as the storms still pulsing in the sky.
