In this story, a policeman on his nightly rounds in one of Chicago's most exclusive residential areas, hears a gunshot... But after a full investigation is completed, there is no sign of a corpse. This greatly affects the credibility of the policeman and neighbors, who claim to have heard the shot and the scuffle. To solve this mystery, the case is assigned to one of Chicago's finest, Detective Sergeant Dave Morgan. You don't have to be familiar with Chicago to enjoy this mystery, but if you are, you'll recognize a lot of places where the action takes place.
