every plane fell from the sky

and the world was plunged into darkness.

This became known as The Event.

Ally’s eyes open, Ben pulls himself from the wreckage and Alec faces the fallout from his actions. The world has managed to push itself back from the brink after The Event but a new darkness has emerged and threatens everything.
