A Face Without a Reflection

How would you feel if you had perfectly good eyesight and could see everyone and everything around you, but you couldn't see your own reflection? Think about it. You would never know what you looked like.

Twelve-year-old Lily Johnson knows what she looks like and she doesn't like it one bit! In fact, she would be happy if she could do away with mirrors altogether. When she sees her reflection, she wishes she were prettier, thinner, taller and definitely...more popular! Wishing for things she's not instead of appreciating all that she is, has made Lily very anxious and unhappy. There are days when she feels like her world might fall apart and lately, she wonders if the world might not be better off without her.

Lily Johnson needs a miracle. And when she is at the lowest point of her young life...that's just what she gets.
