About the Author

KC Pearcey has spent much of her life reading and writing, telling her own stories, as well as encouraging others to share the stories of their lives over a cup of coffee, a tall glass of sweet tea, or a homemade lemonade.

Through the years, she has written, directed, and produced numerous original plays, skits, essays, poems, children’s programs, and murder mystery dinner theaters for churches, schools, friends, and family—for enjoyment, entertainment, education, and evangelism, and sometimes profit.

After 40 years of teaching people of all ages how to write, perform, communicate, and think, she retired to travel with Darling Husband, enjoy time with her grandchildren, and write the books she always promised herself and her students she would someday write. So far, she’s had more excellent adventures than she ever hoped to have.

Daughters is the fourth installment in a series of cozy mystery novels about the town of Balfour, Georgia, and its quirky inhabitants—their secrets, their struggles, their successes, and the strangers that come into their lives.
