When a young man moves to New York City to pursue a career as a musician, he soon sheds his small-town innocence and begins to learn sophisticated big-city ways. Keith finds himself in demand not only as a sax player, but as a sex object. His roommate and fellow musician, Paul, becomes first his mentor, and then his lover. But even while their relationship heats up, problems develop. Paul believes in open relationships, and he encourages Keith to trick with other men. But when Keith begins to enjoy promiscuity too much, Paul changes his mind. He becomes jealous. Can the two jazz men work it out as a hot duo, or will they go their separate ways as solo acts?
