Drake's Gold is an action/adventure novel and the third in the Peter Dennis series.

Following their successful expedition to reclaim the stolen 'Spear of Destiny' , the fabled 'Holy lance of Longinus' from the clutches of the evil German count Otto Brest von Werner, Peter Dennis and Natalie Feltham are on honeymoon in the Caribbean when they stumble upon a four hundred year old Spanish shipwreck.

They soon discover that the shipwreck holds a secret clue to the location of 'El Dorado' the legendary Lost city of Gold.

Once again it becomes a race against time for Peter and Natalie and Jim Hutchinson as they follow the clues which take them from Cuba, to the Dominican Republic, onto Devon in England and the former home of Sir Francis Drake before their explosive showdown with Katja von Werner, daughter of the count, at the lost city of El Dorado
