The peaceful city of Ourense is shaken by a series of apparently unrelated murders. But the murderer's trademark leaves no room for doubt that these crimes are being committed by the same person; Emma, a highly intelligent young woman with an elaborate plan, and a motive that provides the driving force for her subsequent actions. Eva, a police inspector, is the one in charge of solving the case. And so begins the race against the clock to prevent further deaths.
Roberto Martínez Guzmán was born in Ourense, Spain, in 1969, into a humble, hard-working family. In 1988, he began studying Law at the University of Santiago de Compostela. In the fourth year of his course, he made the decision to leave, coinciding with the birth of his son. It was at this moment that he made his first contact with the editorial world, in a commercial environment. Later, in 2002, he was accepted into the body of employees at the Xunta de Galicia (the Galician government).
But it wasn't until 2012, after already having placed himself on the map as a writer in the genres of both fiction and non-fiction through diverse collaborations in blogs and with other authors, when he decided to publish his first detective novel, “No Resurrection” (original title: Muerte sin resurrección), which remained one of the top, bestselling ebooks on Amazon España for several months.
