The Lords of Anavar

The Council of Mages calls a meeting to prepare for the imminent return of Macelan, an evil sorcerer believed dead for centuries. Gerrand the elderly founder of the Council is worried that the Council is no match for his mentor’s return. Gerrand feels his age and is surrounded by fools. He spent a lifetime preparing to defend the return of Macelan but now he needs help.

Gerrand put many plans in motion – will they come to fruition or will the Council’s mistrust of their founder prove fatal. Can the pieces Gerrand put in play measure up to his lofty expectations, or will Macelan rise again?
