A Pride and Prejudice variation. Fitzwilliam Darcy finds a wrecked carriage while on his way home to his estate of Pemberley. The only survivor is a young lady who is escaping a very dark and horrifying past. Taking the name Julia Moreland, the young lady is under the protection of Mr Darcy, allowing her to recover from a brutal history of domestic abuse.
