Monsoon Parker just lost the biggest gamble of his life...with the mafia. Desperate and penniless, he ransacks his late father's suitcase and finds a mysterious substance, which-unbeknownst to Monsoon-is a hallucinatory aphrodisiac and a potent chemical weapon that everyone is soon after, including the mafia he's indebted to. Dancing to the increasingly-frantic tune are an ex-cop, a flamboyant lounge singer, and a brash and beautiful hooker. Dashing across the globe from Vegas to Vietnam to Australia, they are followed by an ever-widening circle of mob henchmen, inappropriate warlords, beer-guzzling elephants, and horny mercenaries. Some get what they want. Others get what they deserve. But nobody gets what they expected.
