Broken

Garth Gilmore and Cindy Bedford, two young people who were both abused in their formative years, are unknowingly attracted to each other and shortly after leaving school at 16, they begin living together. Garth, who is addicted to gambling, turns to robbery to support his habit. He accidentally kills his first victim and Cindy finds out. She reluctantly becomes Garth's accomplice and they commit two more robberies before the police trace them. Love, indifference, abuse, violence and intrigue abound.
