Shabby Summer AKA Folly Island - 1939 - A struggling landscaping nursery owner fights to keep his business alive during a severe summer drought. His wealthy neighbor plots to drive him out of business so as to purchase the nursery land at a low price. A beautiful woman takes up residence across the river on Folly Island, adding spice to the story.
