[Finding Our Forever 02] • Second Time Around

Some people wait their entire life and never find their forever.

I was lucky enough to have met mine on the monkey bars when I was five.

Dahlia, my first kiss, mother of my daughters, my first true love,

Between her and our girls, I had everything,

Or so I thought

Fate had different plans when part of My forever went up in flames

and vanished like black smoke into a dark night.

I thought I was happy just my daughters and me; I felt that I didn't need anyone else;

until one night, I happen to notice the moonlight dancing off of this woman’s loose brown curls,

my eyes trail down her beautiful body and something about her drew me in as I watched the woman’s

hips sway to that carefree beat that was playing that fateful night on Main Street

One look into her big brown eyes I could see into the depths of my future.

Our souls collided with just one breath taking kiss.

She had ignited a feeling deep inside of me that I had since lost and forgotten about.

Is it possible for fate to allow forever to happen a second time around?
