DINOSAUR ISLAND

First novel in an epic fantasy series featuring John Lee, an accidental adventurer and a man on the run. He sails on a trade ship with Captain Sykes and Dr. Oliver Pikeham, a botanist, astronomer, and naturalist.

In DINOSAUR ISLAND, a military deserter steals the identity of a dead man and becomes “John Lee.” After years on the lam while acquiring skills as a yogi and a thug, John Lee sets sail on Captain Sykes’ clipper ship to finally head back to England with his new identity.

However, when Dr. Pikeham discovers that “John Lee” is an imposter, instead of turning him into the authorities, he offers him a job as his personal aide and protector on forays to dangerous, primitive islands so he can continue his work of studying and cataloguing the native animals. While on a shore expedition, John, Pikeham, and Sykes abandon Pikeham’s scientific equipment and flee back to the ship before Siamese pirates can attack.

Losing the pirates in a typhoon, the damaged ship encounters a mysterious island. When they go ashore to gather supplies and items to repair the ship, they encounter something not quite of this world. Something from out of time. Something hungry.

Now, lost on this island of primordial, dangerous creatures, will the passengers and crew of the Nannie Dee survive this perilous adventure and the terrors of the beasts that come in the night?

APE ISLAND

In order to escape the invincible beasts that threaten them, a renegade sea captain must find a new home for his people. Their survival depends on it…

However, Captain Jarreth must first steal a logbook from the Hall of Records. The logbook contains instructions for passing through the Veil—a supernatural crease in the sky. He also must recruit sentients with magical abilities.

Jarreth discovers that the legendary paradise is populated with dangerous, powerful creatures—and some of his men go missing. Should he retreat and regroup, or risk losing more men in an all-out battle? He’s also in big trouble with the Guild back at home—either way, he’s on a path of increasing danger and hardship. It’s going to take more than magic to overcome his challenges.

The Apes have no intention of giving up their lands without a fight. Will Jarreth’s destiny be to battle the Apes in the new land? Or will he be punished for his crimes against the Guild in the old land? Or both?

SNAKE ISLAND

During spring break, archaeology students Adam Andrews and Eva Lunes fly to the Yucatan to research Mayan pyramids, ruins and myths.

When their island guide, Enrique, offers to give them a private tour of Kukulkan’s Island, also called Snake Island, they seize the opportunity, as it has some of the most fantastic, least-seen ruins of all Mayan culture.

When Eva and Adam arrive at Snake Island, they tour Kukulkan’s Pyramid and learn of the legend of the Forbidden Tree and its cursed fruit. Adam and Eva also run into a mysterious man who warns them to get off the island.

Instead of escaping, they become trapped in a chamber of unspeakable horrors, where they discover evidence of recent human sacrifices. When they become prisoners of a thriving savage cult, Eva is eyed as the perfect sacrifice to the Serpent God.
