Every gift brings a burden, every talent an expectation.

Amelie is a girl able to sense the flow of air as naturally as sight or sound. This sense allows her flight with the aid of a special dress, but this escape ever pulls her further from the physical world.

When an ancient force renders the world into dirt and ruin, leaving her dress destroyed and forcing Amelie stumbling to find shelter in the few human outposts left. Pursued relentlessly by a twisted flock of unearthly crows starving for her blood, she struggles to keep those who harbor her safe while chiseling answers from the guardian sent to watch over her. Slowly it dawns on Amelie just how much of her potential has been hidden from her, and the damning price of embracing it fully.

A post-apocalyptic story melded into a fairy tale, with a lemon twist of existentialist hope.
