Iliona and the resumption of ties

Iliona is a place long hidden from the human eyes.

But its inhabitants, the ilions, are appearing in people’s houses out of the blue, and that’s how this story finds Timothy, a human student living in Nagranto, a human city. On the other hand there’s a group in Iliona called The Administration, who have kept the status quo throughout the centuries with their schools and masters and totally disapproves ties with outsiders.

Nonetheless, something is motivating the breakthrough ilions. A promise. Or and illusion? And now Ilions are rushing. Humans are escaping. Restrictions are falling. Iliona’s exile is at stake and Timothy’s curiosity puts him as part of it somehow, along with Muriel and Ed. Follow them and the peculiar ones they meet like Winda and Zian into Iliona’s mountainous lands, overflying night cities and exploring freezing valleys where winged creatures don’t soothe with just a smile, while they run for their lives and memories.

Iliona and The Resumption of Ties introduces us to compelling characters that make us love them and distrust them at the same time, and also to a writer with a thrilling imagination. It’s a sharp debut.
