Castel Debole non � ora che un povero casale sul Reno, tra Borgo Panigale e Casalecchio, cio� tra la prima e la seconda stazione della ferrovia Bologna Firenze; ma una volta, quando si chiamava Castel Forte, era una rocca inespugnabile che dominava un guado importante del fiume, pochi chilometri al po nente di Bologna. Ed ecco la sua leggenda, che non ha nulla d' inverosimile.
