For fifteen-year-old witch Annie Speller, life is all about pranks. She’s been expelled from more schools than she can count, but that doesn’t stop her from having fun. When she’s thrown out of her latest school, she figures she’ll just attend another. She’s right…in a sense. Her punishment? To be stripped of her magic and banished to Earth where she will attend a human school.

Refusing to be left with no magic, Annie is determined to take some along with her. She finds an old spell book in the attic that seems to do the trick. But what she doesn’t expect is for the book to be filled with dark magic, and she accidentally unleashes evil onto Earth. Together with other banished teens—including the boy she may or may not have a crush on—Annie must stop the evil before it threatens to destroy the world.
