Sometimes doing a favour ain't such a great idea. The private eyes of Chase Investigations take on the case of a young cop accused of assault. With some heavy political interference and a drug-fuelled fixer involved, plus Dan Crowley's nemesis DI Kennedy leading the charge, this is a case they quickly wish they had never taken on.

Chris Taylor is an obnoxious spoiled brat with a chip on his shoulder. But Dan knows what it's like to be on the other side and he owes his old mentor a favour, even if he doesn't like his own client. When everyone is lying and backroom deals are being cut, it seems like Dan is the only one interested in justice.

But sometimes justice comes at a high price.
