Port Dragnet’s days are numbered. An industrial accident and persistent attacks from the local basilisk population made most residents take their compensation money and flee over the Kusanagi mountains to Austin City as soon as the offer came up.

But a few remain, including a sarcastic basilisk-hunter, laid-back hairdresser and disillusioned solicitor. A few hours before the town's destruction they discover their journey to safety isn't going to be as easy as they first thought. The Kusanagi mountains hide dark secrets and horrors far worse than the giant lizards able to turn a person to stone with a single glance.

Set in a world that seems familiar but also firmly rooted in the fantastical, Iguana Diplomacy blends high-tech with low-tech, monsters with machines and humor with horror. It hits the ground running and the fast pace doesn't let up until the end.
