Erin Campbell knew her family thought she had completely lost her mind. And after up and quitting her job at the postal service and buying a cabin in the middle of nowhere North Dakota, she couldn’t much blame them. After spending only one week at a nearby ranch the usually predictable woman had up and started a new life. The oil business is booming in the area, and the sweet girl is looking for a fresh start on the open lands of North Dakota. What Erin hadn’t counted on, however, was meeting Jack Riggans, the handsome, and older caretaker of her new cabin.

Jack is a bruised and broken loner. Haunted by the ghost of his deceased wife, Sarah, he’s a man who prefers to keep to himself. He doesn't believe anyone can mend his broken heart and has resigned himself to a life of solitude atop his Harley. When Erin arrives, however, he begins to believe he might have a second chance at happiness, and maybe even true love.

Can Erin convince Jack that it’s ok to love again? Or will the Broken Rider keep his heart closed forever?
