[Legend of Takashaniel 01] • Echoes of a Shattered Age

Technology exists in human history. Centuries after the world changing event known as The End of Technology, humans once again live as their ancient ancestors did. The gun has fallen, the sword has arisen, and in a world grown wild and dangerous, cities, nations, and whole countries have changed in name, size, and in some instances, culture.

Biding his time through the height of human civilization, an ancient evil will now bridge the earth plane and the abyss, bringing a massive horde of the most feared demons in all the five hells. With most of humanity exterminated and the rest enslaved, the world will be his on which to feed for countless centuries. But first he must destroy the Tower of Balance: Takashaniel.

The Children of the Gene: Blessed by the Gods Themselves, five warriors are inexplicably drawn together to the Tower of Balance by its guardian. It is here that they discover the threat of a massive demon horde; a threat that they must meet. If the tower should fall, the demon realm will flood to earth, humanity will perish, and the world will descend into eternal darkness. It is on their journey that these five warriors will learn of their unique abilities, a powerful enemy who commands the demon horde, and the existence of beings thought to have lived only in legend.
