Daisy, Plucked

Hana Holm is dead. Everyone in town believes that she committed suicide, including Hana’s lifelong best friend and recent ex-girlfriend, Daisy Polo. But when Hana’s ghost appears and tells Daisy it wasn’t suicide, but murder, Daisy has to figure out the real circumstances of Hana’s death while also dealing with the grief of tlosing someone so important to her. Daisy has to follow the cryptic clues Hana left behind while collecting her own evidence that her first love didn’t kill herself, unraveling a thread she didn’t know was winding through her life.

Between Daisy solving the mystery, follow flashes of Hana’s life as defined by her love for Daisy and her quest to discover all of the circumstances surrounding her father’s murder. Despite the case being closed after the murderer confessed in his suicide note, she starts to discover clues that there was more going on behind the scenes than just a man who finally snapped. She hatches a plot to catch the killer and wrangle out a confession, but she doesn’t know how far her father’s killer will go to keep the truth from coming out.
