Barcelona; the very near future. On the eve of her sixteenth birthday, Alexandra comes into an inheritance after her parents are killed in an accident, but there is a strange condition attached: she has to find the password, hidden in the most famous online role-playing game of all time -Barcelona Roman Steampunk- that they designed for Omni, a global entertainment, communications and information corporation.

After an unexpected crime, she is forced to turn for help to a group of friends from the past who had branded her an idea thief. But there are others interested in the search, and that includes someone related to Concilium, a shadowy corporation involved in the looming energy crisis.

Barcelona Roman Steampunk is the first adventure from Omni Series(r), a collection of interactive multimedia books (enhanced storytelling) that draws on two worlds. Here, the contrast is not between real and fantasy, but between analogue, represented by the text, and digital, in the images and videos.
