Though most of the verses in this little volume may be familiar to readers of former edition of "Rhymes and Jingles," there are now included a number of pieces which have not before appeared in print, and, thanks to the liberality of the publishers, the rather outworn pictures of earlier editions are here replaced by artistic illustrations and decorative designs - the work of the well-know artist, Miss Sarah S. Stilwell.
