This is a brutal and violent horror novel intended for ADULTS. The content is graphic. The content is disturbing in certain parts. The story revolves around the college romance of Jed and Patty. Both are struggling with their own unique brand of hell. Jed's early college experience takes a horrible turn, and Patty is tormented by the memories of severe child abuse. Both wallow in misery. But somehow they find happiness together. But betrayal leads to revenge. The story takes place in the 1980s. There is social commentary throughout, along with moments of intimacy - good and bad - and lots of rough language.
