Dr. Yoko Kamimura's safe, predictable routine as a behavioral optometrist at the College of Optometry in New York is shattering. When the stranger who comes up to Yoko on East 23rd Street and warns her of danger is shot to death, safe and predictable switches to murder and mayhem. The very next day, there's a catastrophe at the iconic National Arts Club and Yoko's grandmother is left in a coma after a vicious attack.
