Life changed in incomprehensible ways following a catastrophic attack that rendered electrical equipment impotent and the once uneventful lives of Tony Jordan, a comic book store employee, and thousands of ordinary citizens in shambles.

With America on its knees, the survivors are forced into inexplicable circumstances with virtually no guarantee that eking out some semblance of life will be at all possible.
