Forgotten

Callen. He’s my best friend. My boyfriend of three years. Even though I sometimes suspected that my feelings for him were more friendship than great love, I still wasn’t quite willing to let him go. There were times when I secretly wished we could rewind our relationship back to a simpler time. So when I receive a text message asking me to meet him in the darkened woods behind our house, a place where we once played as children, it feels like a chance for us to recapture what we’ve lost over the years.
