Not only that but everything her father has ever said to her is a lie and she also has a forty foot reptilian behemoth living within her?

Ryker Anosov didn't have any answers to those questions. As a matter of fact, if it were entirely up to him then he’d just walk away and pretend like none of this was happening. The issue was, it wasn't entirely up to him. The choice had been snatched from the palms of his hands by his superiors, by his beast and by the very female who the gods had predetermined as his own--Police Sergeant Catori Akita, fierce pyro and team leader of an underground response organization that put the crimes of the preternatural to rest. Now he has to muster up enough courage to inform her of what he knows concerning the man who parented her, her true psionic origins and a complex hierarchy that will expose him as just another individual in a long line who hasn't been honest with her.
