The Monster Slayer Series One, all five novels in a complete set.
Origins - The introduction to the series and its main characters: Kate and Calder. Kate awakens in her home to find that she has deliberately erased her memories. She is dropped into her past life with only a brief note explaining her name, her occupation, and a warning "do not trust Calder."
Vampire Season - The second novella finds Kate dealing with vampires for the first time: a threat that hides in plain sight and can blend in with the humans around them. Harkam's Bridge finds two of its townsfolk murdered by the monsters and calls on Kate to protect them; however, not every monster can be confronted so easily. There are many suspects and, most troubling of all, secrets that her past self left behind.
The Immortal Demon - Otis Smith, a serial killer that returns from the dead, is hounding the village of Thandor. Each time they kill him he returns three days later--always three days later. Death is a minor inconvenience to him and he only laughs, sings, and smiles as he is struck down each time. Kate and Calder will have to solve the mystery of the seemingly immortal man before he kills everyone.
Werewolf - The fourth story in the series takes place eight months after Kate woke up with her memories erased. She and Calder are called to the city of Salim, upriver from Harkam's Bridge and built on the coast of a great lake. A monster is feeding on people in the docks. A monster that, according to the books that were left to Kate, shouldn't exist.
Zombies - The series one finale. A dragon is destroying villages and towns in the country of Huron. Prompted by the monster's most recent attack, Kate is hired to investigate the threat. She has heard the stories of the bodies of dead vanishing from the destroyed settlements on the coast. Are the mysterious necromancers working with the dragon, or is something more sinister developing?
Two extra eBooks are included in this collection:
The Bounty Hunter's Revenge, the first in a science fiction series.
Attack of the Dragon, the first part of the fantasy novel The Wizard and the Dragon, based in the same world as The Monster Slayer series.
