Fifteen year old Pepe and his tutor, Don Wenceslao, attempt to save the treasures aboard a sunken Spanish galleon. They are aided by Pepe's two friends, Isabelle and Bruno, and by the famous novelist Jules Verne, who has been vacationing nearby on his ship, the Saint-Michel.
