Thats what detective John Finder discovers when he confronts his nemesis who kidnapped his daughter.

John is a mourning widower trying to make a new life on a new planet. When Clarissa is taken, he faces a situation in unfamiliar territory with no resourses, and is forced to ask for help before he looses his daughter too.

As a fan of Lee Child's Jack Reacher and Wayne Stinnett's Jesse mcdermitt Dan wanted to combine a little of each and put John Finder into a sci fi setting. Set on a near-future resort world, John has to deal with dominating Casino Directors, a cloning scientist who has mommy issues, and all the while deal with the grief of losing his wife.
