A Gypsy in Berlin

A Gypsy in Berlin

Book 2 of The Berlin Trilogy finds German book critic Thomas Rost with Hitler's girlfriend, Eva Braun, at a Gypsy fortuneteller's. When Thomas interrupts an attempt to kill a young Gypsy named Ingrid, the wild and unpredictable ride through wartime Berlin that began with Into the Night and Fog continues from the point where the first novella left off.

As Thomas and Ingrid dodge bullets, bombs and a dangerous woman who resembles Marlene Dietrich, the story unfolds under the unrelenting demand of Germany's top policeman: that Thomas must solve the mystery of the death of Geli Raubal, the Fuehrer's first and greatest love. At the same time, Thomas is forming his own plan to ensure his and Ingrid's survival.
